This privacy notice explains how we process your personal data in the context of the job portal.<\/p>\n

This statement applies to applicants for positions with the group companies listed below in the European Union\/European Economic Area, Chile, and Taiwan. The statement is based on a common group-wide data protection standard. Where the GDPR applies, it provides the information required under the GDPR; where Chilean or Taiwanese data protection law applies, it should be read together with any mandatory local requirements.<\/p>\n

Controller<\/h3>\n

The controller of the processing of your personal data is generally the legal entity offering the position for which you apply.<\/p>\n

Each group company is responsible for its own recruitment activities. Where recruitment decisions or recruitment processes are jointly managed by more than one group company, the relevant group companies act as joint controllers for that processing and have agreed internally how to allocate their data protection responsibilities. Processing of Data for Recruitment Purposes<\/h3>\n

We may collect personal data about you from the following sources: (i) directly from you, when you apply for positions advertised by us or submit an unsolicited application via our job portal; or (ii) from third parties acting on your behalf or referring you to us, such as recruitment agencies, headhunters, or professional references.<\/p>\n

We may process identification and contact details, application and professional background information, recruitment process information, publicly available professional profile data, and any data required for employment, immigration or legal compliance. Processing may include collecting, recording, storing, organizing, using, disclosing, transferring and deleting such data.<\/p>\n

We process your personal data for the purpose of managing the application process and assessing your suitability for the relevant position.<\/p>\n

When you apply via our job portal, you are required to provide the data marked as mandatory in the application form. Without this data, we cannot process your application. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures and taking steps prior to entering into an employment relationship.<\/p>\n

In addition, you may voluntarily provide additional information during the application process. Where you provide optional data, processing is based on your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.<\/p>\n

Data Transfer within the Group<\/h3>\n

Your application data is submitted via a centralized recruitment platform.<\/p>\n

Your data will be reviewed by the Human Resources Department in Germany and by the relevant group company responsible for the position you apply for.<\/p>\n

If your application is not successful but may be relevant for other positions within the group, and you have provided your consent, we may share your application with other group companies.<\/p>\n

International Data Transfers<\/h3>\n

As part of our global recruitment process, your personal data may be processed in and transferred to the countries and regions where we, our group companies, and our service providers operate.<\/p>\n

This includes transfers from the European Union\/European Economic Area to group companies located outside of it, especially in Chile and Taiwan, and transfers from Chile or Taiwan to group companies in Europe. Such transfers are carried out solely for recruitment purposes, in accordance with applicable data protection law and, where required, subject to appropriate safeguards. Confidentiality<\/h3>\n

Your personal data is treated as confidential. \u00a0Access to personal data is limited to personnel involved in the recruitment process.<\/p>\n

We use external service providers who act strictly on our instructions. Data processing agreements in accordance are in place with all such service providers.<\/p>\n

Data Retention<\/h3>\n

If your application is unsuccessful, your application documents will generally be deleted after six months, based on our legitimate interest in defending against potential legal claims. Retention may be extended where required by applicable law (for example, to meet tax, financial, or regulatory record-keeping obligations), or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.<\/p>\n

If you have provided your consent, we may also retain your data in our talent pool for a longer period in order to consider you for future vacancies.<\/p>\n

If you are hired, your application data will be transferred to your personnel file and processed as necessary for the employment relationship.<\/p>\n
