Safety First!
Last week, our technical team from the Polish wpd windmanager subsidiary had the pleasure of hosting several firefighting crews at the Jarocin Koźmin facility.
The purpose of the safety drill meeting was to practice safety procedures in the event of a potential emergency situation between the management of the facility, service company, local fire departments, and specialized high-altitude rescue units.
After a brief introduction, which sparked great discussions, our technical team, along with representatives from GE Vernova turbine services, and a large group of firefighters from various units—including Poznan’s regional headquarters, high-altitude teams from Kalisz, Poznan, and Krotoszyn, and the Borzęciczki volunteer fire brigade—practiced different evacuation scenarios. Under the guidance of windhunter academy instructors, they even carried out a spectacular evacuation of an injured person from a nacelle 120 meters above the ground!
The meeting was a great opportunity to strengthen cooperation and only proved that both our colleagues and all visitors of our facilities are in great hands!
Our sincere thanks to all participants!
