“Around the world” – that is the motto of wpd windmanager GmbH & Co. at the WindEnergy Hamburg from 25 to 28 September 2018 at the Hamburg Messe site. At booth 132 in hall A1 the company from Bremen puts the focus on the international wind farm management and demonstrates operators and investors optimization measures for the operation of their wind farms. “The international market continually grows in significance”, says Nils Brümmer, managing director of wpd windmanager. “We plan to further expand our international portfolio – in countries, where we already have a strong presence, as well as in new strategic target markets.” By now, wpd windmanager is responsible for 4,053 MW total capacity – 1,133 MW of these internationally in Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Finland, France, Poland and Taiwan.
Soon wpd windmanager plans to tap into further markets. “At the world’s leading expo we have the opportunity to discuss cooperations and strategic target markets with operators and investors”, explains Brümmer. “Due to our long-term experience and our global locations we are well connected and thus able to give investors an easy entry into foreign markets.” Among these are Finland and France, but markets such as Sweden, Spain or Chile serve as strategic targets as well.
